Belt Driven Screw Compressor Details
Belt driven screw air compressors consist of a belt connected to the compressor pump motor. When the motor is running, the belt turns, powering your air compressor. Belt driven screw air compressor is more suitable for compressors with about 22KW of power, and is driven by two pulleys manufactured in proportion to speed through the belt.

If you need to adjust speed and power, belt drive may be a better option. As long as it is properly lubricated, the belt-driven compressor will run more smoothly and therefore quieter. This makes it a good choice for environments where noise levels are important.
